Adventure 2019 Summer Camp

       Our day camp for elementary and middle school students is designed to expose relevant academic subject matter in a fun, engaging and exciting way. KTA Summer Enrichment Program offers a well-rounded summer camp experience by blending technology education with the activities and lifetime benefits of traditional camps. Each week we will explore different collegiate areas of study including; Chemistry, Pre-Med, Business, and International Affairs through various activities geared towards divided age groups.

Ages: Our Year-round early education program accepts children ages 6 weeks to 13 years. 

Our Summer Enrichment Camp accepts students from Pre-K to the 8th grade. 

Curriculum: Technology based S.T.E.A.M (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) set of activities integrated with language arts, computer programming, robotics exploration, foreign language, music and culinary arts. A perfect blend of technology education and traditional summer camp fun! 

Athletics:  Onsite Recreational Swimming (lessons are an additional fee) and introductory instruction to other various of sports such as Basketball, Soccer, and Tennis.
Includes:  Weekly Field Trips (ages 6-13), Daily Meal Plan, STEAM Activities, Assorted Weekly Activities, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Culinary, Sports/Fitness, Recreational On-Site Swimming , Game Room, Indoor/Outdoor Games (i.e. Board Games, Xbox and a Wii) and much more...

Exploring Google in California 

Considered one of the BIG FOUR when it comes to technology Google is said to be not only one of the fastest growing companies but one of the best to work for! This week campers will explore how google separated itself in the global market to become one of the industries leader. California is also home of the first 24-hour cupcake ATM so in celebration we will have our very own  Cupcake Wars style bake off. Campers will learn icing techniques, kitchen etiquette and most importantly EAT everything we make!

Trip to China

Known as the country with the most people at a little over 1 billion, China is home to Alibaba the biggest online commerce company. It is the most popular destination for online shopping and the world's fastest growing e-commerce market. This week campers will explore a variety of online markets and medias to discover how it varies from country to country. We will also learn about the culture through language, historic landmarks and celebrate our own Chinese New Year complete with fireworks and traditional cuisine.

North America 

Cruising through Mexico

Mexico is situated on the "Ring of Fire" the world's most prominent volcano and earthquake region. Campers will create their own live volcanoes while they learn about a "a day in the life of a Mexican student". We will also make sombreros, partake in Taco Tuesday and learn a traditional Mexican danza (dance) while immersed in the rich Mexican culture this week.

Expedition to Egypt

The pyramids are still a mystery to the modern world, and we intend to explore all the possibilities on how they were built. This week we will take a trip through early civilizations to uncover the mysteries of Egypt. We will explore the first humans, create our own hieroglyphics in a guided art painting class and re-create the process of mummification as we explore the importance of the afterlife to Egyptian culture.

Journey to New Zealand 

Its Beach week and New Zealand is the home of the ninety-mile beach. Sandy shores and crashing waves are the main themes of the week. We will recreate beaches in bottles and create sand art to amaze our family and friends in our first Kids Art Gallery.

Kicking it in Korea

In this exhilarating week we will have our own "Shark Tank" inventors’ workshop. Campers will create products that let them flex those entrepreneur muscles that either improve on an existing invention or create something brand new. Each team will have a chance to brainstorm ideas to help solve real world problems.  Keeping up with Korean traditions we will also have an introductory Taekwondo lesson from a certified black belt.

July 8th – July 12th  


Safari Adventure in Nigeria                                        $175 per camper

Creative dance, jungle safaris and surviving the wild are all adventures we will explore this week. Diamonds are a major export and we will pan for them in our backyard. We will also start our very own garden to show how to self-sustain and speak about the variety of animals native to this country.

Trek to Brazil 

Containing almost 60 percent of the Amazon rain forest Brazil is said to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. There are more species of monkeys in Brazil than anywhere else in the world and Rio de Janeiro is home to one of the 7 Wonders of the World the Christ Redeemer Statue. This week will will explore giving back to our planet as we discuss conservation and plant our own garden in our back yard. We will contribute to Earth some of what we take from her.

Tour de France

Bon Jour and welcome to the Tour de France week. Food, fashion and fun are just a few things to look forward to this week. Culture is a main theme this week as we immerse ourselves in the rich traditions of this lovely culture. We will create our own paper mache Eiffel Towers, create strawberry crepes and sample a variety of over 20 french cheeses while also have a elementary lesson in the language.

Road Trip to New York

As we conclude the summer, we circle back to our country of origin home of the Statue of Liberty.  Known for its many Broadway theaters, cinemas and delicious food it is said to be the city that never sleeps. We kind of feel the same way after this exciting summer jam packed full of fun and games!
